"Flora"
1999 Hanoverian mare
ridden by Gina Marchand
|
| Flora, by
breeding, was "built to kill"; she has
inherited that innate Hanoverian talent at, well,
everything. Arriving to us from the hinterlands of
Germany, in the Saxon Swiss region, it didn't take
long for us to find out that for all her femininity in
her appearance, she certainly can play with the big
boys; her debut was small and incredibly
unspectacular, under saddle with Maggie Reier at a
local exhibition, but she knocked the competition to
it's feet. Now, having placed Gina in the saddle and
prepping her for junior hunters, we're greatly
anticipating what this mare can do. |
